Danny McLipstick is just like any other teenage boy in the 1950s: he plays sports, studies hard, volunteers, and works two part time jobs. The only difference is, when Danny has free time he isn’t chasing girls; he’s solving mysteries. It’s prom time at Williams City Highschool and all the kids there are laughing and talking, excited about the big prom that is only a couple days away. Only something’s not quite right: when rumors start floating around the school that the prom decorations have gone missing, Danny knows something’s up. When the principal calls Danny into his office, his suspicions prove correct: a mysterious threatening note has been left and Danny is enlisted to find the perpetrator.
Williams City Highschool, Your prom is doomed! The only hope you have in saving your students from heartbreaking devastation is to call off the prom. If you don’t, you will have only yourselves to blame for the ruinous peril that will ensue.
